Our services

Full body mole check

We use the latest technology, including manual and digital dermoscopy (molemapping cameras), to diagnose any changes in moles and other skin lesions that could be indicative of skin cancer. Any concerning moles or lesions can be identified on the spot and recommended treatment advised.

Moles or lesions that the doctor would like to see in greater detail are imaged using a specialised mole mapping camera. Photos taken are enlarged (around 30x) onto an HDTV screen and the doctor will discuss the images and their feedback with you.

The advanced DermEngine digital technology we use provides an excellent baseline for future comparison and monitoring of your moles, as all images are securely stored and can be referred to at future checks.

The doctor can also answer any questions you may have about your skin and sun protection during your check.

Initial full body check 20-30 mins |  $210
Post-initial checks (within 24 months) |  $180

Spot check (1–3 moles of concern)

If a mole or lesion is concerning you, we can provide you with a professional diagnosis and advice regarding any necessary next steps. The doctor will use digital dermoscopy to check 1–3 concerning moles or lesions and provide feedback on-the-spot (please note this is not a replacement for a full body check which is highly recommended).

15 mins |  $110

Post-initial full body mole check

Post-initial full body mole and skin cancer screening appointment, using advanced DermEngine digital technology, for Mole Doctor patients last seen within 24 months since last full body check.

20-30 mins |  $180

Cosmetic mole/lesion removal consultation

At Mole Doctors we perform surgical removals as appropriate. For removal of a cosmetic mole or lesion, we require patients to make an initial 15-minute appointment to discuss the most appropriate treatment or procedure, any scarring and healing time that may be involved and to answer any questions you may have.

In some cases it may be more appropriate, if a mole or lesion is being removed for cosmetic purposes, to have a lesion treated in a non-surgical way, such as: intense pulse light (IPL) treatment, laser therapy or chemical peels. We will always recommend and aim to deliver the treatment that we believe will produce the best result for our patients. We do not provide IPL, laser or chemical peel treatments  at Mole Doctors, but can direct you to other medical providers who do, if required.

At Mole Doctors we offer both surgical and shave removal procedures, which are often best suited to larger, raised moles and can produce an excellent cosmetic result. If your moles of concern are small and/or flat then we may advise an alternative treatment or provider. When enquiring about cosmetic mole removal you can discuss with our reception team whether the procedures that we provide may be appropriate for you.

15 mins |  $110

Non-cosmetic mole/lesion removal consultation

This initial 15-minute appointment allows us to discuss and advise on the most appropriate treatment or procedure in the removal of a non-cosmetic mole or lesion.

15 mins |  $110

Surgery and treatment appointments

At Mole Doctors, we charge according to the time required for surgery or treatment of skin cancer (including biopsies) and cosmetic mole/lesion removal. All pricing also includes post-operative and follow-up care. Costs for your surgery or treatment, if required, will be advised at your first appointment.
